Chocolate Café: The Rooftop Knit Edit transforms oversized knitwear into a warm, textural surface-design story.
Inspired by Kimberly Ann Hawes’ off-shoulder cable-knit sweater, coordinating slouchy knit boots and oversized textured tote, Pattern 004 builds its visual language around coffee beige, oatmeal, toasted cream, caramel and subtle espresso accents.
The original outfit is almost entirely monochromatic, so texture becomes the main event. Cable stitches, braided forms, loops and woven details inspire the movement of the seamless repeat, while subtle Pepper Saint Clair influences bring vintage polish to the contemporary rooftop look.
From a distance, The Rooftop Knit Edit reads as a sophisticated neutral pattern. Up close, the layered knit-inspired details reveal the fashion story behind the design.
